The Band's Details

Amber Nelson
Amber is Tilly Jam's lead vocalist and provides the band with an amazing amount of energy. The crowds always respond to the spark and spirit she projects. Her talent and hard work continues to take the band to new and exciting areas. With an ever expanding arsenal of soulful songs and her clear passion for writing new styles of music has provided the very backdrop that all great bands need to take that next big step.
George Bentz George is a founding member of Tilly Jam and has played in several gorge area musical projects for six years. He started to play the bass in 6th grade and plays both electric and acoustic, upright bass. His background includes playing lots of Jazz but has played a real mix of music. Jaco Pastorious will always be the main bass influence on George. In his early years, George was highly interested in fusion Jazz including Chick Corea-Return to Forever, the Crusaders and Weather Report.
Dustin Hunley Dustin is our newest member. He has performed for over 10 years as a professional musician with a variety of jazz, popular, funk, and commercial groups. He has performed in many top venues in Denver (orignally hailing from there) and move to Lost Wages NV, where he played at the Bellagio and Mandaly Bay resorts. He also did a stint on the Carnival Cruise Liner MS Ecstasy (now that's a love boat) as a band leader/front man for the Dustin Hunley Sextet.
Jose Maya José (the Marathon Man), the only other remaining founding member, has always had a back beat to blend into his life of music. The congas were his first passion, but soon pushed out to full kits and percussion deigns. Rhythms have always been part of Jose's life and are coupled with his very large heart. José has a background in percussion that is quite extensive... always looking to push the offbeat back onto our more inner primitive pulses.
Mark Daly Mark starting playing guitar when he was seventeen (late by most standards), yet music and singing had already been a huge part of his life. He always had a knack for writing music and has been introducing a multitude of new tunes written specifically for the band. The entire group has contributed to these developments and everyone understands that creating these new tracks is one key to opening new doors and venues for the band.
